Nepsis brings Amanda Butler in-house as first CTO
Nepsis, an investment and financial advisory firm based out of Minneapolis, USA, has appointed Amanda Butler as its first CTO.
Butler – who has served as an outsourced consultant for Nepsis for over a decade – will oversee the firm’s tech strategy and infrastructure, alongside the management of its technology vendor partnerships.
Furthermore, she is also expected to expand Nepsis’ technology stack, and enhance the integration of its wealth management and tax services business lines.
She is to collaborate with the firm’s design unit on product developments, including the ongoing refinement of its proprietary app.
With over two decades of experience in the technology sector, Butler’s expertise is exemplified by her 15-year tenure at Mosaik Consulting. During this time, she held the position of principal, and played a part in designing the company’s architecture and data model.
Commenting on the company’s new CTO, Matt Pearson, president of Nepsis, claims that bringing Butler in-house will allow the firm to deliver a “deeper level of support to our advisors and clients, as well as enhance operational efficiency for our team members”.
Nepsis is not the only wealthtech to have recently hired a new CTO, as UK-based firm Calatsone previously announced the appointment of Nick Parsons as its new CTO back in March.
