Moneythor names former Temenos head Martin Frick as new CEO
Moneythor has appointed former Temenos MD Martin Frick as its new CEO, while its co-founder Olivier Berthier is to transition to the role of chairman.
The Singapore-based fintech says the transition comes at a time of “significant growth and expansion”, with Frick expected to oversee its efforts to continue on this trajectory.
Adopting the position of chairman after more than 11 years at the helm, Berthier will steer the fintech’s “long-term vision and strategic direction” in his new capacity.
Commenting on the change via LinkedIn, Berthier cites Frick’s “wealth of experience” and history of “driving organisational success” as key contributing factors to his appointment as CEO.
Before joining Moneythor, Frick co-founded and acted as CEO at Singapore-based software developer Force For Good, and has previously held positions at Temenos and Avaloq, where he served as managing director of the APAC region for both companies.
Founded in 2013, Moneythor was recently tapped by India’s Axis Bank to utilise the fintech’s personalisation engine to provide personalised insights to its customers and increase engagement.
