UAE’s GTN names former Saxo Bank exec Damian Bunce as new Middle East CEO
GTN, a UAE-based investment and trading tech firm, has appointed industry veteran Damian Bunce as its new regional CEO for the Middle East.
Founded in 2000, GTN offers brokers, banks, and fintech companies a range of investment and trading solutions designed to integrate with their current services via API.
Its new regional CEO brings more than three decades of experience in forex and online securities trading within the brokerage and investment banking sectors.
Bunce was previously chief commercial officer (CCO) at Copenhagen-headquartered Saxo Bank and has also served as chief customer officer for Exness, a multi-asset broker based in Cyprus.
Speaking on his new appointment, Bunce, who announced via a post on LinkedIn that he has also relocated to GTN’s headquarters in Dubai, says he is looking forward to moving back to “mainstream B2B and working in a region that has gained global strategic importance for financial services”.
The company says Bunce will work to “lead GTN’s strategic initiatives in the Middle East” and “help coordinate global activities across its network of offices” as the company pursues further growth as part of its “global expansion journey”.
