Tradeshift names Raphael Bres as new chief product and technology officer
US-based Tradeshift has rehired Raphael Bres as its new chief product and technology officer (CPTO).
Bres had previously served as chief product officer for the B2B e-commerce and fintech platform until 2021, when he assumed the same position for the commission management platform Spiff.
Commenting on his return, Bres says he plans to action “immediate enhancements” of the San Francisco-based vendor’s capabilities – which extend to e-invoicing, marketplace commerce and embedded fintech services – in a bid to tap “a wider range of businesses”.
He brings to Tradeshift 25 years of experience in product leadership with a penchant for “crafting high-performance B2B SaaS solutions, particularly in the financial and vertical application domains”, according to LinkedIn.
This includes previous posts at the likes of Certinia, Microsoft, Workday and Oracle, where he served as director of product strategy for financial product management.
He is to join Tradeshift’s newly-enlarged executive team, following the appointment of Jim Modak and Iain Balchin to chief of strategy and GTM, and chief financial officer, respectively, in February.
