Renasant Corporation promotes president and COO Kevin Chapman to CEO
Renasant Corporation, the parent of Renasant Bank, a regional bank based in Mississippi, USA, has announced that its president and COO, Kevin Chapman, will become CEO of both the bank and corporation.

Chapman will succeed Renasant’s incumbent CEO Mitchell Waycaster, who is due to step down in May 2025.
Upon concluding his leadership role at the corporation, Waycaster will continue to serve as executive vice chairman for both Renasant Corporation and its banking subsidiary.
In a joint statement regarding Chapman’s promotion, Renasant executive chairman, Edward Robinson McGraw, and Waycaster describe the new CEO as a “dynamic leader” with a keen grasp of both “corporate banking strategy and the financial services marketplace”.
Chapman, who will retain his current title and duties as president of both the corporation and the bank, has been with Renasant Bank since 2005, holding various positions such as chief strategy officer and corporate accounting officer.
In addition, since 2011, Chapman has acted as CFO of the corportation and the bank.
Established in 1904, Renasant Bank recently disclosed its first-quarter earnings. The bank currently holds deposits and loans amounting to $14.2 billion and $12.5 billion, respectively, marking an increase from the same quarter in 2023.
Just last week, the North American financial sector witnessed a change in leadership as Canadian Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) fintech Zafin announced Charbel Safadi as its new CEO, succeeding Al Karim Somji, who held the position for over two decades.
i am NOT happy with your bank as I have had one issue after another but today I have had it!!! they took my SS Deposit out of my account and did not let me know. I have bill pending on this $.. If there was a issue they should contact me. As my husband passed in MAY and his SS check was stop but my check not problem except it should be deposit on WED of each mo Per SS dept and it never shows up until thursday or friday in my account. and other issue i had i just let it go but today i just done Please help me get my SS $ back in my account .I have been with this bank when it was People Bk LONG time and was NEVER treated so bad… PLEASE help thank you Wanda Holloway
