Busey Bank launches commercial credit cards with Corserv
Busey Bank is to launch new credit cards for its commercial customers using Corserv’s account issuer programme.
The vendor says the programme will benefit customers with a self-service interface for card management, spend controls, virtual cards to pay vendors and expense reporting.
Moreover, it states that the Illinois-based bank will now gain “more control” over credit decisioning in the pursuit of offering account holders a “comprehensive” suite of credit card products.
Andy Santangelo, EVP and director of treasury management for Busey Bank, adds that the programme will supply the bank with the “tools for credit decisioning, options for local servicing, and custom rebates”.
Busey Bank adds to a growing list of US banks to recently leverage Corserv in their credit card issuance, with notable examples including Peoples Bank in Ohio and Pennsylvania’s Meridian Bank.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Atlanta, the vendor currently offers financial institutions several issuing processing and programme management solutions for debit, credit and prepaid cards.
