Arizona Financial Credit Union taps NCR Atleos for ATM management
Arizona Financial Credit Union (AZFCU) has enlisted NCR Atleos to upgrade its ATM network and self-service banking options.
The credit union, which is headquartered in Phoenix and manages assets of around $3.3 billion, currently maintains around 30,000 ATMs throughout the US.
It is also an active member of Co-op Solution’s shared branch network, enabling its 165,000 members to access their accounts at around 5,000 physical credit union locations nationwide.
NCR Atleos says that the credit union began searching for a new tech partner as many of its ATMs were “reaching end of life”, with AZFCU ultimately choosing to designate the operation of its fleet to NCR Atleos and its ATM-as-a-Service (ATMaaS) solution.
The company will now oversee the distribution, installation, maintenance, and cash management of the credit union’s ATMs and self-service channels.
It is currently providing these services for a growing list of financial institutions, including Bank of Baroda in India and United Heritage Credit Union, Seacoast Bank and Grow Financial Federal Credit Union in the US, among others.
Chad Forkenbrock, EVP and COO of AZFCU, says he expects the partnership to drive “new functionality, faster innovation and greater reliability and uptime to our members”, while simultaneously enabling the credit union to benefit from “added operational efficiencies” and a “predictable cost structure”.
Diego Navarrete, EVP of global sales for NCR Atleos, claims that the outsourcing will enable AZFCU to “lower costs and focus greater resources on digital and growth priorities”.
