Rabobank partners French fintech Dejamobile for merchant SoftPOS solution
Rabobank has partnered with French fintech Dejamobile to enable its merchant clients to accept payments on their mobile phones.
The Dutch bank, which claims 9.1 million customers in its native market, will integrate Dejamobile’s white-labelled ReadyToTap Payment for Merchants solution into its Rabo SmartPin app.
The Rabo SmartPin app enables merchants to create product catalogues, track stock, register cash payments and link multiple users.
Dejamobile says the addition of its SoftPOS tech turns the app into a “complete cash register solution”, allowing NFC-enabled smartphones to be used as payment acceptance devices without the need for additional hardware.
Nico Strauss, tribe leader B2B services at Rabobank, says the partnership with Dejamobile makes the app “even more accessible for entrepreneurs” and will help to ease the flow of business for merchants with its additional transaction and revenue-tracking features.
