Indochina Bank to implement Flexcube core banking system
Indochina Bank (IB Bank) is modernising its core technology with Oracle FS and the vendor’s local reseller, Techzone.
The bank will implement Oracle’s flagship Flexcube core banking system. This is a new-name win for Oracle and it is understood Flexcube will replace the bank’s legacy core from another major international banking technology supplier, Temenos.
Launched in 2009, IB Bank is a commercially owned financial institution that offers personal, corporate and premier banking services in Laos (Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Lao PDR).
Oracle FS already has an established presence in the country, with Bank of the Lao PDR (BOL), the country’s central bank and regulator, a long-standing user of Flexcube.
Joint Development Bank (JDB), Lao-Viet Bank, and ST Bank are also on the firm’s client list, FinTech Futures understands.
