Finastra appoints Mike Stawchansky as new senior VP and CTIO
UK-based financial software vendor Finastra has appointed Mike Stawchansky as its new senior VP and chief technology innovation officer (CTIO).
Reporting directly to Finastra CEO Simon Paris, Stawchansky will lead the company’s customer technology senior leadership team and will be responsible for guiding its customer technology and generative AI development plans.
Paris says Stawchansky “brings a wealth of expertise in building modern tech stacks and cloud transformations” to his new role.
He previously served as senior VP of platform engineering at data software company Collibra. Before that, he worked at US software giant Salesforce for over seven years, rising to VP of systems engineering at Salesforce subsidiary MuleSoft.
Commenting on his appointment, Stawchansky says he is eager to bring “more customer-facing solutions to market which encapsulate GenAI benefits”.
Finastra’s announcement of its new CTIO follows the firm’s recent deals with Vietnam’s LPBank, France’s Banque Delubac & Cie, and Hong Kong’s Allied Banking Corporation, the latter of which has upgraded to the vendor’s latest core banking system, extending its 15-year partnership with the company.
