WealthCo Asset Management taps Duco to automate manual data tasks
Canada’s WealthCo Asset Management has partnered with Duco to automate manual data tasks using the latter’s cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.
WealthCo says it wanted a solution that would allow it to achieve operational efficiency through a single platform for managing reconciliations for price, positions, trades and cash, with scalability being a “crucial factor” during the company’s deliberations and eventual selection of Duco’s tech.
As a result, WealthCo says it has been able to replace spreadsheets in wealth asset management, insurance operations and finance with the Duco platform, which has allowed the asset manager to build “volume-agnostic” automated processes.
“Duco enables us to leverage end-user automation, driving down total cost of ownership, risk and time-to-value, reduce costs and dramatically improve efficiency in reconciliation and other data integrity tasks,” says Jeanne Oppenheim, chief operating officer at WealthCo.
“We have consolidated previously manual tasks across different platforms into Duco, giving us scalable and transparent controls and enhanced auditability as we grow. All of this allows us more time to spend with clients.”
