Form3 strengthens board with appointment of Anil Arora as non-executive director
UK paytech firm Form3 has appointed Anil Arora to its board as an independent non-executive director.
Form3 hopes to leverage San Francisco-based Arora’s “significant experience” in founding and scaling up fintech companies, his understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for financial institutions, and experience working in public and private sectors..
In his new role, Arora will work closely with Form3’s US chief executive, Dave Scola, as the company looks to expand its US business, describing it as a “key market”.
With a career spanning over three decades, Arora has worked across various business segments including fintech, personal computing and consumer goods. Notably, he served as chairman and chief operating officer for Yodlee from 2000 to 2015, taking it from a small tech firm to initial public offering (IPO), before it was sold to the American fintech corporation Envestnet in 2015.
He then served as CEO of Yodlee under Envestnet between 2015 and 2019, after which he progressed to vice chairman and board member for the corporation. He currently serves as a board member for various firms including ON24, Tifin and others.
Commenting on Arora’s appointment, Michael Mueller, executive chair of Form3, says: “His significant experience in scaling enterprise technology companies will not only help us to strengthen the governance of the business, but also drive growth in Form3’s key markets, including the US.”
