Finnish fintech Aibidia names Matthias Grabellus as new chief product officer
Former SAP exec Matthias Grabellus has joined Finnish fintech Aibidia as its new chief product officer (CPO).
Aibidia says Grabellus will be tasked with further developing its transfer pricing platform to help it reach its “fullest potential”, an endeavour that will include the globalisation of its product suite.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Helsinki, the company provides a platform that enables multinational corporations to action different tax strategies with a specific focus on transfer pricing – the price at which one division sells a product/service to another division within the same group – and cross-border business management.
Grabellus joins Aibidia from Celonis, a process intelligence platform, where he served as senior vice president (SVP) of product management finance for over three years.
Prior to this, he led the finance, governance, risk and compliance portfolio for SAP, where across a variety of senior roles over his 11-year tenure, he is cited as a key figure in the development of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, including S/4HANA.
Commenting on his most recent appointment, Grabellus says he hopes to help Aibidia “change how professionals manage cross-border business, enabling them to create more value streams for their clients and their companies”.
Adding to this, Hannu-Tapani Leppänen, CEO and founder of Aibidia, describes the appointment of Grabellus as “a significant step forward” for the company following its expansion into 12 different markets last year, adding the company’s new CPO will help drive the creation of “a purpose-built platform that brings a common language to cross-border business management”.
