Dutch commercial bank NIBC taps Fenergo for KYC tech
NIBC, a commercial bank based in the Netherlands, has tapped Irish fintech Fenergo for its onboarding and know your customer (KYC) solution.
Fenergo’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, which is integrated with Salesforce at the front-end, is set to replace the bank’s legacy systems currently in use for KYC in a push to “achieve operational efficiencies”.
The bank is set to benefit from a single client view across the business while “streamlining” the onboarding of new clients with enhanced KYC processes.
“We needed to replace our KYC system, which was an in-house developed, highly customised application,” says Daniella Steenbergen, a director at NIBC.
She adds that the deployment of Fenergo’s solution was completed “within an extremely short time frame”.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Fenergo offers banks and fintechs a range of KYC, transaction monitoring and client lifecycle management solutions, as well as product provisioning and regulatory compliance services.
Payments service provider (PSP) iBanFirst and Generali Investments Holding are all among its current clientele.
