Jordan’s Capital Investments taps Codebase Technologies for digital onboarding
The investment arm of Capital Bank of Jordan, Capital Investments, has launched digital onboarding services powered by Codebase Technologies’ Digibanc platform.
Capital Investments is leveraging the platform to enable digital onboarding for its wealth management and trading accounts in the hope of enhancing its ability to acquire and retain more customers.
It claims that the Digibanc platform will allow customers to onboard themselves “from anywhere, anytime, in just a few minutes”.
Capital Investments’ CEO Bashar Amad explains that the company has “constantly” faced customer attrition challenges during onboarding, and that it is “keen to re-strategise” to make the most of new technology developments to improve the customer onboarding experience and reach customers in more remote locations.
It marks the latest development in the longstanding relationship between the Capital Bank Group and Codebase Technologies, with the pair having previously collaborated on both the launch of Blink, Jordan’s first neobank, in 2021 and Capital Bank’s digital banking app last year.
More broadly, Codebase Technologies’ Digibanc offering has been selected by a number of companies across the industry over 2023, with the vendor being tapped by the Ghanaian financial platform services provider Fortek, UBL Fund Managers in Pakistan and Ajman Bank in the UAE.
