UAE’s Ajman Bank selects Codebase Technologies to power retail “super-app”
The UAE’s Ajman Bank has partnered up with Codebase Technologies to launch a new retail “super-app” powered by the vendor’s Digibanc platform.
In addition to the Codebase partnership, the bank has also implemented cloud solutions from Cloud4C and Microsoft Azure to support its digital banking capabilities.
Through the development of the new app, Ajman Bank is hoping to streamline its operations and enhance its customer experience.
“This isn’t merely a platform upgrade. It’s a paradigm shift in our operational approach, leveraging advanced tools, automation, and enhanced capabilities to navigate the evolving banking environment,” explains Mustafa Mohammed Saeed Al Khalfawi, CEO of Ajman Bank.
He adds that the Digibanc platform has been “pivotal” in the bank’s transition to a “customer-focused, innovation-driven model”.
Codebase says that by adopting its API-led solution, Ajman Bank will be able to create and launch digital banking products and services, access improved customer analytics, streamline internal workflows, and collaborate with other fintechs.
Founded in 2017 and based in Dubai, UAE, Codebase Technologies has partnered with a number of banks and fintechs in the region, and has recently signed deals with Network International, Fortek, and Capital Bank of Jordan, among others.
