Form3 announces leadership changes as CEO steps down
UK paytech Form3 has announced that CEO Michael Mueller will be stepping down from his role, passing over the responsibilities to Mike Walters.
Walters is one of the first employees and co-founder of Form3, and served as chief product officer (CPO) for the start-up since its inception in 2016. With nearly two decades of work experience, Walters’ previous stints include working as product director for Barclaycard and over 10 years at Barclays, most latterly as head of corporate payments.
Form3’s chief operating officer (COO) since inception Eimear O’Connor will take over from Walters as CPO. She brings more than 20 years of work experience to her role, having formerly worked at Barclays and Visa. In her new role, she will be tasked with focusing on taking Form3 into new markets and creating new services.
Mueller will be taking over as executive chairman of Form3 from co-founder Tom Kozlowski. As chairman, Mueller says he will ensure “that we are adjusting the governance of the business to the requirements and challenges of the next stage of our evolution – with significant responsibility for payment processing at scale in all our key markets”.
The changes follow Form3’s recent appointment of former NatWest executive Matt Tuck as its new chief commercial officer (CCO) in September, as well as an undisclosed investment from Visa as part of a new commercial partnership.
