Swedish paytech Trustly taps Klarna and Adyen alumni for new COO and CRO hires
Swedish paytech Trustly has appointed Eileen Chibb as chief operations officer (COO) and Jussi Lindberg as chief revenue officer (CRO).
Serving in these two newly-created positions, both Chibb and Lindberg will report directly to group chief executive officer (CEO), Johan Tjärnberg.
Chibb, “the new helm of operations”, will be tasked with assisting the company in the creation of “a consolidated operations function” as it attempts to improve merchant experiences and consolidate its financial crime prevention, finance operations and support teams.
Chibb joins Trustly from a four-month tenure at the lending fintech BROCC. Prior to that, she had a five-year stint at Klarna, where among other roles, she restructured and led Klarna’s operations globally as business operations director.
Chibb describes her appointment as “a defining moment” and says that she is “eager to collaborate with the outstanding teams here”.
As CRO, Lindberg will be tasked with leading the company’s revenue streams and commercial teams, and driving growth and diversification for Trustly Europe while promoting an emphasis on enterprise merchants.
He joins Trustly leveraging over ten years of experience in the payments and e-commerce sectors, including prior leadership positions within Adyen, Banking Circle, PayPal, and eBay.
The paytech’s latest hires this week add to its appointment of Anna Bjurefeldt to head of internal audit and Mia Bjurkell to director of risk and compliance earlier this year.
