Sibos 2023: Canada’s Scotiabank taps CGI to advance payments solutions
Canada’s Scotiabank has selected IT and business consulting services firm CGI to deploy its All Payments solution and improve the payments experience for all its global clients.
CGI All Payments is an API-enabled cloud-based enterprise payments platform that is deployable across multiple IT ecosystems and cloud environments, along with the ability to integrate with CGI’s other financial management offerings.
The company claims its All Payments solution is “a tech stack based on the ISO 20022 standard” that is used by financial services firms across the world, and supports multiple currencies, languages, and payment channels.
Matthew Parker-Jones, SVP, products and operations, global business payments for Scotiabank, adds that the solution “complements the benefits of the SaaS delivery model and supports Scotiabank’s commitment to deliver an industry-leading payments experience”.
“CGI All Payments is designed to increase system resiliency, replace legacy IT architecture, and improve payment processing,” says Robert Coakley, vice president consulting, delivery, and CGI lead for payment solutions.
“The result enables clients to focus on their customers while easing their compliance burden— despite an ongoing evolution of the industry’s complex global regulatory environment.”
