MSUFCU veteran Benjamin Maxim named as Reseda Group’s new COO
Benjamin Maxim has been named as the new chief operating officer (COO) of start-up credit union service organisation (CUSO) Reseda Group.
Maxim, who previously served as chief technology officer (CTO) at the firm, confirmed the news via a LinkedIn post this week. Reseda Group is wholly-owned by Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU), where Maxim also serves as chief digital strategy and innovation officer, responsible for “assessing emerging trends, technologies, digital platforms and potential partnerships”.
In his statement, Maxim announced that the union is “unifying our products as direct offerings from Reseda Group” as part of its efforts to “build more products, innovate and collaborate for the betterment of the credit union movement”.
Maxim has been a central figure at MSUFCU for over 16 years, and first joined its team back in 2007 as a senior web developer, a position in which he oversaw the development and deployment of the credit union’s app.
During his time at the firm, Maxim has held numerous positions including assistant VP of software development and later assistant VP of digital strategy and innovation, among others.
