Five credit unions tap MDT to deploy Banno Digital Banking Platform
Five credit unions in the US have partnered up with Member Driven Technologies (MDT), an implementation partner of Jack Henry, to leverage its Banno Digital Banking Platform.
The credit unions include Great NorthWest FCU, Sentry Credit Union, Georgetown Kraft Credit Union, Peoples Federal Credit Union and Strait View Credit Union.
Wisconsin-based Sentry Credit Union will leverage MDT’s core as well as Jack Henry’s Banno platform to provide an improved service to its customer base.
“MDT offers the best of both worlds; they not only host a robust core platform but also take a tailored, personalised approach to service,” explains Tim Barthel, president of Sentry Credit Union.
“We’re a small but mighty credit union that has one physical location but members in 48 states. With MDT, we will gain notable efficiencies, allowing our team to focus on how to best serve our members across the nation.”
For Kevin Owens, president and CEO of Georgetown Kraft Credit Union, the partnership not only helps it “streamline” internal process and better the employee experience, but also helps it to benefit from “MDT’s deep expertise and knowledge around pressing topics such as cybersecurity”.
Great NorthWest FCU, on the other hand, aims to leverage this partnership to “better serve” the minority populations in its community.
The credit union service organisation (CUSO) recently created a new role at its firm, appointing Peter Major as vice president of fintech services this April.
