More than 25 US credit unions and community banks tap Eltropy for AI Chat offering
Eltropy, the US-based digital conversations platform for community financial institutions (CFIs), says more than 25 credit unions and community banks across the country have now gone live with its AI Chat offering to boost their customer service.
The list of credit unions and community banks engaging with the service now includes ACFCU, Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Eglin FCU, Financial Edge, First Credit Union, Highmark Federal Credit Union, PeopleFirst FCU and TruStone Financial CU, among others.
Bolstered by a string of recent acquisitions, including fintech firm POPi/o in June 2022 and Marsview AI the following August, Eltropy says its digital conversations platform “alleviates the challenges of voice-only call centres” in recognition of the heightened importance of on-demand communication channels between banks, credit unions and their customers.
The company’s AI Chat and AI Voice tools aim to integrate the advantages of AI within the entire member communication cycle. AI Chat supports a library of over 400 intents, and can be used to settle queries raised by customers with the added ability to escalate to human agents “whenever necessary or preferred”.
Likewise, AI Voice services traditional phone channels by replacing conventional interactive voice responses, claiming to automate “around one out of three to four phone calls”.
With this, the 25 CFIs adopting the technology are now set to offer “round-the-clock service” in query and transactional monitoring alongside optimised agent efficiency to help strengthen member relationships.
First Choice Credit Union’s remote services manager, Brad Kindsfather, says the platform has afforded its members “the ease of connecting with us via Secure Chat for service-related items”.
“Our vision for a digital conversations platform that provides unified solutions for communication, automation and intelligence for credit unions and community banks is getting wide adoption with our existing and new customers,” adds Ashish Garg, Eltropy’s co-founder and CEO.
