Melton Building Society taps Finastra for digital transformation
Leicestershire, UK-based Melton Building Society has tapped financial software provider Finastra for digital banking transformation and the implementation of new services.
Through Finastra’s digital banking solution, Fusion Essence, deployed on Microsoft Azure cloud, Melton Building Society will be able to enhance its customer experience, automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and deploy new products and services.
“With our solution, Melton Building Society can provide its members with more self-serve capabilities and access to specialised services by integrating with third-party fintechs, whilst reaching more customers at a reduced operational cost,” explains Siobhan Byron, EVP, universal banking at Finastra.
Melton Building Society has also partnered up with Mast to utilise its cloud-native mortgage origination system that helps lenders process applications faster, and Fairmort, a financial services software provider, to manage its data migration and regulatory reporting.
“We selected Finastra due to its strong industry expertise and truly cloud-native solution, providing added security and giving us the flexibility to develop our offering and pursue more partnerships in future,” says Simon Taylor, CEO of Melton Building Society.
This is the third building society client for Finastra’s Essence solution, along with Loughborough Building Society and Teachers Building Society.
