Mascoma Bank implements OnView deposit suite with VSoft partnership
New Hampshire-based Mascoma Bank has partnered with VSoft, an Atlanta-headquartered provider of information and technology solutions for financial institutions, to implement the latter’s OnView deposit capture product suite, which includes its Teller Deposit, Branch Deposit and ATM Deposit solutions.
The partnership forms the basis of the bank’s latest efforts to enhance its customer experience and back office operational efficiencies, now through the three solutions provided by the OnView suite.
The Teller Deposit solution allows the bank to capture deposits at any one of its 140 teller stations, or behind the teller line in the branch back office, reducing manual errors through the automation of cheque processing.
Likewise, the adjoining Branch and ATM Deposit solutions automate the validation and balancing of cheque deposits and payments.
OnView’s workflows deliver cheque images to Mascoma Bank directly, minimising time and operational costs for reconciliation, back-office processing and image exchange.
Founded in 1899 by community members aiming to establish a healthy local economy, Mascoma Bank is an independent, full-service financial institution and Certified B-Corporation headquartered in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
According to Raphael Reznek, its chief technology officer (CTO), Mascoma Bank “recognised that VSoft’s technology would help us stay ahead of the curve and exceed our customers’ expectations for service that’s convenient and personal”.
“By eliminating the manual tasks and tedious data entry associated with cheque processing, our team can spend more time helping customers,” he adds.
Steve Thomas, vice president of sales at VSoft, says the partnership will allow Mascoma Bank to “continue building strong relationships with the customers in their local communities”.
