JP Morgan CEO confirms German expansion for Chase digital bank
JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has said that the company’s online bank offering Chase is set to expand into Germany and the wider European region.
Following earlier speculation that it might pursue the German market, Dimon finally confirmed the move with regional newspaper Handelsblatt on Friday, sharing that the US banking giant has “ambitions plans” for its arrival.
Chase’s European debut has so far only extended to the UK market, where it launched in September 2021 with the backing of 500 new hires.
“It has always been clear to us that we want to introduce Chase not only in the UK, but also in Germany and other European countries,” Dimon is quoted as saying by the German news outlet.
It was then exactly a year after it launched in the UK that JP Morgan started displaying similar intentions to expand again.
Reuters reported last September on the company’s search for a ‘people project lead’ and ‘financial crime compliance officer’ in Germany, with both postings making references to the arrival of new consumer banking operation.
Although earlier reports suggested that Chase could arrive in Germany in late 2024 or early 2025, Dimon’s latest comments fail to pinpoint an exact date for the launch.
About a year and a half ago, I was not permitted to enter my online Chase

received a reply in how I can use my on line account. Courrently, since then, I
have been calling in my 2 monthly payments.
Therefore, why was I was formidden to enter my online secured account,
and how do i restablish it so that I can use my account to pay my bills and to
view my current Chase account standing.
I currently reside i Germany.
Thank you.
