Ray Brash joins paytech start-up Flyfish as CEO
Ray Brash has become chief executive officer (CEO) of Flyfish, a brand new paytech in the UK.
Brash has a wealth of experience in the financial services and payments sector, having spent nearly two decades with payments provider PPS (previously known as PrePay Solutions), most recently as CEO and head of fintech. As of today, PPS has a new name and brand – Edenred Payment Solutions.
He is also advisor and investor in UK fintech Bond, which provides overnight deposit facilities and real-time settlement infrastructure to move money overnight; ekko, a provider of embedded sustainability solutions for the digital economy; and Sprive, an AI-powered mortgage assistant.
Flyfish is at the initial stages of its journey.
“At Flyfish, we believe that the future of payments is frictionless,” the start-up says on its LinkedIn profile.
“We build financial technology solutions that enable our customers to launch and scale according to their needs.”
The company’s chief technology officer (CTO) is Marek Wawro, who previously held CTO roles at money transfer firm Azimo (acquired by Papaya Global last year), healthtech Doctify, and student-focused lender Future Finance. Wawro is also a technology mentor for the Central Eastern Europe and Africa regions at Google for Start-ups Accelerator.
