Novobanco taps Feedzai for fraud protection and enhanced CX
Portuguese bank Novobanco has partnered Feedzai to help enhance its customer experience, improve its digital journey and provide fraud protection.
Novobanco will deploy Feedzai’s Digital Trust (DT) and Transaction Fraud for Banking (TFB) solutions to provide a deeper analysis of customer biometrics and behaviour, network, device and threat data in real-time to identify legitimate customers “and improve fraud blocking before it happens”.
Feedzai says its “human-centred AI” will also help Novobanco apply “fair treatment” across its customer portfolio by addressing customer bias.
Novobanco is Portugal’s fourth largest domestic bank, with 1.5 million clients and €43.8 billion in assets, providing a full range of financial products to both corporate and retail clients.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, USA, Feedzai operates what it calls the “world’s first” RiskOps platform for financial risk management powered by machine learning and AI, helping banks, merchants and payment providers detect financial crime.
With offices in the USA, Europe, Asia and Latin America, Feedzai has raised $282 million in funding to date and is valued at more than $1.5 billion.
