Multi-asset custody provider Etana names Dennis Noto as new CTO
Multi-asset custody services provider Etana Custody has named Dennis Noto as its new chief technology officer (CTO) as the firm looks to scale.
Noto, who boasts more than 25 years’ worth of experience across brokerage/advisor trading and settlement systems, portfolio management systems, artificial intelligence, blockchain and cloud computing, will be tasked with developing and implementing the company’s strategy and leading its team of tech professionals.
Etana CEO Brandon Russell says Noto’s “strategic vision and deep industry knowledge” will help the firm as it plots its next phase of growth.
Noto has previously served as CTO at companies including IBM, LPL Financial and Scottrade (later acquired by TD Ameritrade).
His experience in technology and traditional finance will assist Etana in bringing solutions to the digital asset market that are on par with conventional asset markets, Etana says.
Etana offers a technology platform that provides exchanges, institutions, investment professionals and individuals the tools to provide oversight, security and fiduciary responsibilities to their global clients.
The firm’s tech allows for the custody of currencies and digital assets through its cold, hot or multi-party computation (MPC) wallet solutions.
