Valor PayTech hires Riaz Ladha and Eric Kirk to lead new business unit
Valor PayTech has appointed “payments veterans” Riaz Ladha and Eric Kirk to head up its new strategic payments business unit.
Ladha joins Valor as senior vice president of integrated payments and strategy. He will be responsible for spearheading the firm’s card-not-present (CNP) focus.
Kirk joins Valor as vice president of integrated payments and strategic sales, responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and business opportunities in the CNP space.
Prior to joining Valor, Ladha was vice president of industry relations for the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). He also served as vice president of enterprise business for paytech firm NMI.
Ladha says he and Kirk have “worked closely together in the past” and both see an opportunity at Valor to “help ISVs, ISOs, and financial institutions optimise their payments infrastructures”.
Kirk previously served as senior vice president of institutional partnerships for BHG Financial, as director of North American sales for NMI’s enterprise and strategic division, and as executive vice president for restaurant POS solution Aptito.
Valor CEO Eric Bernstein says Ladha and Kirk’s “backgrounds and connections” will help the firm build new partnerships and boost revenues.
The company, which provides merchants and sellers end-to-end omni-channel commerce solutions, has also launched Valor Connect, a “one-click” integration that offers businesses quick access to its payments suite.
Valor was set up in 2019 and is based in New York.
