PayQuicker appoints Nazuk Jain to lead product development
PayQuicker, which provides a payments and treasury platform for corporates and consumers, has hired Nazuk Jain, a former Apple product manager, as its new head of product.
Jain will be tasked with building out the firm’s product team and managing its expanding product roadmap, including new product development and enhancing existing offerings.
She will also be responsible for long-term product strategy at the company as well as product testing.
Speaking on her appointment, Jain says: “My team will be focused on strengthening PayQuicker’s underlying technology solutions and furthering the company’s commitment to investing in and building products that serve the needs of payees, and particularly gig economy workers, across the globe.”
At Apple, Jain was a product manager for the retail online payments and affordability team. Prior to this, she was product manager at Wells Fargo, overseeing digital products in personal lending.
She also has experience as an associate product manager at JP Morgan, where she developed an enterprise payment solution as well as digital products for merchants.
In September, PayQuicker launched Payouts OS, a “payouts-as-a-service” platform designed to address the needs of gig economy workers and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
Payouts OS leverages virtual cards, bank transfers, crypto and global e-wallets to deliver payments to the 78 million gig economy workers globally, as well as the underbanked who cannot access their pay through traditional bank accounts.
