Capital Bank of Jordan launches new mobile banking app powered by Codebase
Capital Bank of Jordan has tapped Codebase Technologies to launch a new mobile banking app powered by the latter’s Digibanc platform.

Together, the two firms have worked to develop a widget-based mobile app for the bank’s customers, described as the “first of its kind” for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The bank says utilising the multiple market-ready solutions within the Digibanc platform has accelerated its time to market “significantly”, adding the platform’s “open and agile nature allowed features to be developed and integrated with the bank’s existing core banking system and IT infrastructure”.
Through the new digital offering, Capital Bank of Jordan says it aims to enhance customer engagement and acquisition to boost its market share and drive growth across the organisation.
Codebase Technologies is a longstanding technology partner of Capital Bank of Jordan. In the past year, they collaborated on the launch of Jordan’s first neobank, Blink. They also worked together to enable digital onboarding for Capital Investments – the investment arm of Capital Bank Group.
