MovoCash partners with Fiserv to expand money movement options
California fintech MovoCash has partnered with paytech firm Fiserv as it looks to add new money movement options to its on-demand banking offering.
MovoCash’s contactless on-demand mobile banking allows customers to deposit, send, and receive money as well as mint and convert cryptocurrency to US dollars through their smartphone.
MovoCash says the deal with Fiserv will “facilitate increased portfolio profitability and growth while enabling funds access and payments transactions for customers” through Fiserv’s Accel debit payments network.
MovoCash CEO and founder Eric Solis says: “Working with Fiserv allows us to offer card, payment, and network solutions under one digital roof, which translates into intuitive, convenient, secure solutions for today’s mobile banking consumer.”
Fiserv’s MoneyPass will give MovoCash’s US customers access to more than 37,000 free-to-use ATMs, and the financial services company will provide the manufacturing, personalisation, and delivery of debit cards to help MovoCash secure “top-of-wallet positioning”.
Fiserv’s head of card services Himanshu Patel adds: “Movo is shaping a reimagined and immersive financial services experience by delivering on-demand fintech solutions through the channels in which their customers prefer to interact.”
