Trulioo hires Leigh Ramsden as new CFO
Identity verification firm Trulioo has appointed Leigh Ramsden as the its new chief financial officer.
Ramsden joins Trulioo next week and will report to CEO Steve Munford. He succeeds Anne Lawlor, who steps into an advisory role in the interim.
“I want to thank Anne for her significant contributions to the company throughout the years,” says Steve Munford, president and CEO of Trulioo.
“During her time at Trulioo, she has added tremendous value and we truly appreciate her long standing commitment to the company.”
Prior to joining Trulioo, Ramsden spent 11 years at Absolute Software, six of those as vice president for finance.
While at Absolute, he participated in a successful $69 million public equity raise and cross-listing to Nasdaq.
“I can’t imagine a more exciting time to join Trulioo,” says Ramsden.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the company’s mission to accelerate financial inclusion.”
Canada-based Trulioo claims to support the verification of five billion customers through its network of clients.
At the tail end of the 2019 the firm secured $70 million in a fund raise participated in by Goldman Sachs, Citi, and Santander.
