Denmark’s EKF picks Calypso for its treasury software
EKF, Denmark’s credit export agency, has selected Calypso and its Treasury Solution to provide straight-through-processing.
According to Calypso its solution passed an “extensive EU public tender process”. The tender, launched earlier in the year, asked for a “cloud-enabled, cross-asset, front-to-back” treasury solution.
Calypso says its solution will provide EKF with “the agility to respond to internal and external pressures”.
Visigon, Calypso’s local implementation partner in the Nordic region, is taking over deployment duties. It will also manage and oversee maintenance.
Credit export agencies offer trade finance to help aid domestic companies’ international export business.
They often provide loans, loan guarantees, and insurance to encourage local companies to trade and do business abroad.
“We assigned the contract to the Calypso-Visigon partnership thanks to their experience and support,” says Maria Linkhorst, head of treasury at EKF.
“We have been impressed by their expertise and their ability to deliver implementation efficiently, which will be crucial for our ambitious timelines.”
Mayank Shah, chief strategy officer at Calypso Technology, says the deal adds to a “growing list” of clients in the Nordics.
