Temenos hires Roger Klantschi as EVP for Americas
Temenos has appointed Roger Klantschi as its new executive vice president of delivery for the Americas.
Klantschi is leading the services and support sector for Temenos in North America and Latin America. The firm says his focus will be on “building customer value and success”.
The technology firm sees the American region as a strategic one, and says it has spent more than $1 billion acquiring US tech firms Kony ($559 million) and Avoka ($245 million).
Temenos says it has 1,300 existing clients in North America, as well as 100 in Latin American and the Caribbean.
Prior to joining Temenos in July 2020, Klantschi spent 15 years at Infosys. He left as delivery manager for the Americas. Prior this this he spent two years working as chief information officer at Banco Hipotecario.
Klantschi will report to Alexa Guenoun, Temenos’ president for the Americas and its head of partners.
“It’s a privilege to join Temenos and lead the services organisation in Americas as the company’s customer presence and footprint expands in this market,” says Klantschi.
Guenoun adds that Klantschi has “an impressive record in delivering large-scale transformation projects”.
“We take pride in building strong partnerships with our clients and helping them grow their business, and this will be a key focus for Roger and his team.”
