GPS fills out executive team with handful of new C-level hires
Payments processing firm Global Processing Services (GPS) has set about filling some seats at the executive level.
The company has made three C-level appointments: Richard Hodgson as chief financial officer, Shaun Puckrin as chief product officer, and Jerome Gudgeon as chief technology officer.
Hodgson is responsible for scaling the GPS Finance function as it expands geographically. A qualified accountant, he has more than 25 years of experience in financial services.
Prior to joining GPS, Richard held senior positions at XE.com, HiFX, Travelex, and GlaxoSmithKline.
Puckrin will set product strategy and roadmaps at GPS. He has held roles at Worldpay, Nested, Monitise, and Symbian.
Gudgeon is tasked with overseeing the development of the GPS Apex payment platform, as well as its day-to-day operations.
Gudgeon has worked at American Express, TD Bank and Fidelity. Prior to joining GPS he founded fintech firm Shieldpay and acted as CTO.
“We are thrilled to welcome Richard, Shaun and Jerome to the leadership team at GPS,” says CEO Joanne Dewar.
“Their collective wealth of experience stands to enrich the team and propel us forward into the next stage of our evolution.”
That evolution sees GPS deploying its payments processing technology “into new territories”. GPS also aims to advance “the next generation of fintechs, digital banks and e-wallet providers.”
