Wells Fargo extends 25-year processing partnership with TSYS
Wells Fargo has renewed a longstanding deal with Global Payments for the provision of TSYS payment technology.
As part of the multi-year agreement, TSYS will continue to provide a range of processing and support services for the bank’s commercial card portfolio.
TSYS has provided its payments processing services to the US lender since 1995.
Mary Mazzochi, manager for the commercial card product suite at the bank, says it continues to benefit from its work with TSYS.
She highlights the firm’s “flexibility and power” in a statement, adding that it will play a part in the lender’s ongoing digitisation.
Gaylon Jowers, president of TSYS issuer solutions, and senior executive vice president for Global Payments, adds that the two companies have a “great relationship.”
Global Payments acquired TSYS last year in a $21.5 billion mega-deal.
The combined entity provides payment technology and software to more than 3.5 million small to medium-sized merchants and over 1,300 financial institutions worldwide.
