Wildfire Credit Union picks Backbase tech
Michigan-based Wildfire Credit Union has selected Backbase and its Digital-First Banking solution.
According to the vendor, the Wildfire CU will be able to “unify the member experience across all channels”.
Mark Schuiling, chief technology officer at the credit union that digital is a “huge part” of the firm’s strategy.
“We partnered with Backbase as a way to expand throughout Michigan and into other states without adding more physical branches,” he adds.
“We’re not locked into a relationship with a cookie-cutter system and a big black box that we can’t modify.
“Now, we are confident we will be able to provide our members with the fast, intuitive, and seamless digital access that we strive to achieve.”
Founded in 1937, Wildfire CU is headquartered in Saginaw, Michigan. The firm has 176 employees and posted an annual revenue of $31.86 million in 2019.
