New international banking platform Cpay.uk launches
Cpay.uk, a new international banking platform founded by an ex-Credit Suisse and UBS director, has come out of stealth mode.
The firm aims to provide an alternative to what it calls “heavily regulated banking” with solutions that “meet and exceed the financial demands of today’s fast-paced generation.”
Cpay.uk will offer current accounts to business and individuals in both euros and British sterling through an electronic money licence provided by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Accounts offered by the challenger will come with a dedicated IBAN, unique account number, sort code, and everything else you’d expect from a traditional bank to make and receive payments “straight away.”
“Less than a year ago, I left Credit Suisse to kick start a fintech company that would offer powerful digital banking solutions that understand customers’ personal and business needs,” Furkat Elmirzaev, CEO and founder of Cpay.uk, wrote on social media.
“Today I am pleased to announce a launch of our banking service Cpay,uk to our clients from across the globe.”
