US Bank connects customers with Fiserv data solution
US Bank has bolstered its agreement with technology provider Fiserv in a deal which will see its customers able to aggregate their financial data via an application programme interface (API).
This new feature is powered by Fiserv’s AllData Aggregation solution, which the vendor claims can aggregate more than 18,000 consumer data sources including bank, credit card, investment, retirement, insurance and loan accounts.
US Bank is the fifth-largest bank in its home country and a subsidiary of US Bancorp, a Minnesota-based bank holding company.
It has an extensive relationship with Fiserv and deploys a selection of solutions from the vendor, including its CheckFree RXP electronic billing and payment, Popmoney personal payment and TransferNow software.
“We want to give our customers experiences with their money that are fast, easy, and make their financial lives simpler,” said Gareth Gaston, executive vice president of digital platforms at US Bank.
“And those things are only worth doing if they are secure. Agreements like this are innovative on both fronts. Partnering with a leader like Fiserv allows us to expand customer options even more.”
