Saffron Building Society creates new savings app with DPR
Saffron Building Society, a British banking society which offers saving accounts, has partnered with DPR Limited, a core banking provider for saving and lending, to launch its new savings app.
Delivering the new mobile solution to its retail and business customers, Saffron hopes its users will now be able to do “savings on the go” with ease through both iPhone and Android devices.
The banking society currently manages more than £1 billion in assets, and has 90,000 members.
The white-label solution provided by DPR enables Saffron’s customers to transfer and manage their deposits, view statements, send and receive messages to and from the bank and apply for other savings products “within a few minutes”.

“As a regional building society we pride ourselves on the service we deliver to our loyal members and community,” says Saffron’s CEO Colin Field. “This means we need to stay relevant and listen to their needs.”
“When we approached DPR with the challenge to help us grow our member base and enhance the service for our existing member’s service, they proved yet again the value of their breadth and depth of the UK savings market with quality solutions,” Filed adds.
DPR has around 40 clients across the UK with a combined book size of more than £100 billion assets under management (AUM). The core banking provider has integration gateways with a range of third parties such as ClearBank, Experian, Equifax and World Pay to name a few.
