Nisir Microfinance taps ICSFS for new core system
Ethiopia-based Nisir Microfinance has picked ICS Financial Systems (ICSFS) and its ICS Banks Microfinance platform, to be deployed across the firm’s five branches.
Nisir Microfinance published its intentions to deploy a new core system in November 2018. An ICSFS release claims that the vendor was selected from among five “global leading” companies.
Dawit Wakgari, CEO of Nisir Microfinance, says that the firm started by looking for a solution that is “seamless and agile” as it needed to cover all of its needs.
“We chose ICSFS because they showcased best in technicality as well as financially, and support in achieving our growth plans,” he adds.
Robert Hazboun, managing director at ICSFS, adds: “The selection of our ICS Banks Microfinance solution is a proven testament to ICSFS’s true and clear differentiator among its peers.
“We are prepared to provide our expertise and insights to help Nisir Microfinance grow and achieve a competitive advantage in the Ethiopian microfinance market.”
