Minnesota’s Sentry Bank selects CSI NuPoint
Minnesota-based Sentry Bank has selected Computer Services Inc (CSI) and its NuPoint core processing solution, as well as a hatful of online banking, mobile banking and payments tools.
According to the vendor, Sentry Bank picked NuPoint to enhance its overall customer experience, particularly in the online banking and payments channels. The bank also wanted to improve its back-office processes.
Darren Heying, CEO of Sentry Bank, says that his customers expect to have “the most up-to-date technology” to meet their financial needs.
“By pairing CSI’s digital banking capabilities with our customer service, we can provide our community the financial solutions and experience they expect and deserve.”
Sentry Bank, founded in 1904, is a full-service bank based in central Minnesota. It operates four branches around the St. Cloud area. It holds around $223 million in assets under management.
According to Heying, everyone the bank talked to “spoke highly about the level of support CSI provides on an ongoing basis”.
CSI states that following the selection of NuPoint, Sentry Bank has reduced the number of external vendors and technology providers it works with.
Kentucky-based CSI said in November 2019 that it had signed up 11 US banks for its core systems that year.
Among them were Altoona First Savings Bank, Massachusetts-based Mansfield Bank, and Minnesota-based Citizens Alliance Bank.
In August 2018 CSI launched an API platform for banks to connect custom technology to its systems.
“Customers continue to expect more and more from their banking experience, so financial institutions must find innovative ways to keep up with the pace of change,” said Bob Ezell, chief product officer at CSI, at the time.
