Heritage Bank signs Diebold Nixdorf on five-year ATM services contract
Australia-based Heritage Bank has signed up Diebold Nixdorf to manage its entire fleet of ATMs in a five-year services agreement.
Diebold Nixdorf will provide its DN AllConnct Services suite to the bank, which the vendor claims will provide real-time monitoring services and a fleet-wide upgrade to Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system.
Anti-skimming card protection, security updates, and remote software updates, maintenance and support will also be provided.
“This agreement ensures increased operational efficiency of our ATMs, and allows us to focus on our core business of providing consumers with a great banking experience,” says Peter Lock, CEO of Heritage Bank.
For Jaivinder Singh Gill, regional vice president and managing director of banking for Asia Pacific at Diebold Nixdorf, high system availability across an ATM network is “a critical component” for delivering positive customer experiences.
Heritage Bank is Australia’s largest mutual bank and one of the longest-running financial institutions in the country, having been founded in 1875 as Toowoomba Building Society. The bank operates around 60 branches and has AUD $10 billion in assets under management.
