Uwharrie Bank chooses Fiserv’s DNA core platform
North Carolina’s Uwharrie Bank is powering its digital transformation with Fiserv’s DNA core account processing platform, reports Jane Connolly.
With a view to offering “big bank experiences” while retaining a personal approach and its independence, the bank selected the open architecture core platform to improve agility and to modernise and streamline operations.
Uwharrie Bank, which has 10 branches, has also added card services to its existing Fiserv solutions.
“We have completed the implementation of DNA and are taking full advantage of the technology to optimise our operational model and offer the products and services our customers demand,” says Jackie Jernigan, EVP operations division at Uwharrie Bank.
“To ensure we can continuously evolve and strengthen the customer experience we provide through every touchpoint, we needed a core operating system that is modern, open and flexible.”
The DNA system enables the bank to share customer data across its business units, helping bank employees to better understand and anticipate customers’ needs.
