DPR and ClearBank complete partnership, savings meet APIs
Core banking technology provider DPR has announced the completion of its partnership with UK-based ClearBank.
DPR’s clients, from banks to building societies, will now get “a greater choice in their agency banking provider”, whilst ClearBank’s clients get access to DPR’s core banking system.
Launched in July, DPR’s new online application and account-servicing platform can on-board retail and business savings customers, deliver them core banking technology and enable them to manage multiple account types.
“We’ve been working on a number of open banking and API initiatives to support our clients,” says DPR co-founder and CEO Dave Patel. “Having completed our initial integration for one client, we’re really pleased to be able to extend this integration to all customers of our enhanced banking platform.”

Existing savings clients at DPR include neobank Masthaven, Saffron Building Society, Cambridge Building Society, and challenger Redwood Bank – the first UK business bank to go 100% cloud-based.
Patel says DPR’s modular solution can be deployed in the cloud or on premise in just three months. He says: “I firmly believe we have the most comprehensive offering available in the market.”
As for ClearBank’s CEO Charles McManus, the completed partnership proves his company’s emphasis on the “strategic role that core banking providers play for financial institutions across the spectrum”.
