Trov partners with Lloyds and launches white-label insurtech platform
Insurance technology provider, Trov, has partnered with Lloyds and launched a portfolio of white-label insurance products which will be ‘rapidly’ deployed by financial companies and insurers.
Later this year, Trov and Lloyds will release an insurance product on the ‘Powered by Trov’ insurtech platform which will deliver modern insurance solutions for homeowners, renters, motorists, and SMEs.
The platform will comprise of four parts:policy sales, claims, client relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence – all these modules can be configured for a variety of policy types.
“The launch of ‘Powered’ by Trov marks the completion of our evolution from a single direct-to-consumer offering to a suite of robust, flexible insurtech applications that empower incumbents to offer relevant products to the latest generation of digital natives,” says Trov founder and CEO, Scott Walchek.
The San Francisco-headquartered technology company is hoping to capture this new generation of consumers by innovating with little to no integration with legacy platforms.
“We’re excited to explore how Lloyds can better meet our customers’ changing needs,” says Lloyds home insurance commercial director, Jeremy Ward.
“Modern consumers expect simple, engaging experiences in anything they do, and we’re looking forward to launching innovative new products to give our customers that kind of experience.”
Trov was founded in 2012 and has now raised more than $114 million in funding.
