Fintech platform Bond raises $10m seed funding
Bond Financial Technologies plans to expand its reach after raising $10 million in seed funding, writes Jane Connolly.
Finsmes reports that Canaan led the round for the San Francisco-based company, with participation from Coatue and angel investors including Sarah Friar, Ryan Peterson, Eric Yuan and Steve Frieberg.
Bond’s enterprise grade ML-powered fintech platform helps digital brands to offer personalised and compliant banking products, with banking partners that want to add financial services to their portfolio.
The funds will be used to drive platform development and increase Bond’s customer base among banks, fintechs and brand partners.
Co-founder and CEO Roy Ng began his career in banking at Goldman Sachs and went on to become president and COO of open source mapping platform Mapbox.
