MeDirect chooses Crealogix for digital investment platform
Malta-based savings bank and wealth manager, MeDirect Group, has successfully launched a new digital investment platform developed by Crealogix, reports Jane Connolly.
Formerly known as Mediterranean Bank, MeDirect has attracted more than 4,000 new customers and over €150 million in investments in the first 40 days since its launch in Belgium.
The paperless onboarding process allows customers to sign up online for the platform, which offers access to self-service savings and investments.
“Recently completing the implementation of a regulated savings product for the Belgium market was an important project for MeDirect Bank,” says the bank’s group head of change and technology, Alanbek Yussupov.
“We’ve succeeded in moving rapidly into a new market thanks to a consumer-focused technology strategy. With Crealogix and their software, we’ve made our savings products transparent for investors, who are able to benefit from our competitive offers with just a few clicks or taps via our easy-to-use digital and mobile services.”
David Joyce, CEO at Crealogix UK, adds: “MeDirect is extending high quality products to the mass market without this being held back by linear increases in costs of manual customer support and advice. We’re delighted to support MeDirect’s ongoing success in proving that wealthtech democratises access to high quality investments.”
