AdviceRobo launches PSD2 robot for credit decisions
Dutch fintech, AdviceRobo, has launched a categorisation robot to help lenders make better credit decisions under the revised Payments Services Directive (PSD2), reports Jane Connolly.
The company says that CatRobo is Europe’s first pan-European categorisation and default prediction API, which uses transactional data to enhance the decisioning process.
CatRobo categorises 70% of transactions automatically and is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and behavioural and psychographic modelling.
The fintech is already partnering with KPMG and Microsoft.
Diederick van Thiel, AdviceRobo’s CEO, says: “It serves the need in credit risk management to get more grip on the quality of the customer base. Also, the close cooperation with KPMG in this makes me proud. It shows the power of our cooperation to create a more financially healthy world.”
The API automatically translates different data formats for Dutch banks and can be customised for banks in other EU countries within a couple of weeks.
